Maxer was delighted to welcome the delegation of the Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan Province and Nottingham University to visit Maxer and our university partners, St. John College and Clare Hall of the University of Cambridge on the 25th September 2018. The aim of the visit was to explore the international collaboration opportunities between the Sichuan authorities and UK Higher Education Institutions.
Maxer hosted a meeting for the delegation and invited guest speakers - Dr. Ruigang Zhou, the Head of Operations and Partnerships of Maxer , Dr. Matthias Dörrzapf, the Director of International Programmes of St. John’s College University of Cambridge, and Dr. Marie Janson, the Development Director of Clare Hall University of Cambridge, to give a brief introduction of their organisations/colleges, and to share the latest development of the international education programmes.
After the meeting, members of the Sichuan delegation, representatives of the Nottingham University and the guest speakers were invited to join a networking tea break to make connections and discuss potential collaboration opportunities. This meeting has further facilitated the development of international collaboration between Chinese authorities and UK Higher Education Institutions.
